honestly when we moved into wakad 2 years back, we thought the basic stuff like clean markets (like the vegetable ones in aundh) and some avenues for shopping and entertainment would be there. to our surprise no existed. even today, one ends up going to aundh and baner for food stuff. the good part, the air is relatively less polluted, still has a village like ambience. hopefully things will change as time goes along. but the lack of town planning is a major deterrent in having a well planned township anywhere in pune. with the exception of nigdi pradhikarn, cannot think of one place that is well planned. lets hope our leaders in PCMC wake up and smell the coffee
